What is AVE Frontera?
AVE Frontera is a non-profit, family-made, and family-serving organization and community. We focus on spreading our mission of success in education through active family engagement and serving communities around us.
Education
In collaboration with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and South Texas College (STC), we bring family leaders into classrooms to help college students connect their studies with their families' experiential and ancestral knowledge and traditions.
Family
We aim to bring communities and families together through our variety of leadership development and self-efficacy workshops grounded in a family-friendly environment and sense of belonging.
Students
AVE Frontera promises to bring our efforts together to provide a family support system aimed at improving the educational attainment of students through tutoring, mentorship, and financial support services.
